Markets We Serve
Industrial Facility Electrical
Process power, motor controls and shutdown execution for plants and distribution facilities.
In an industrial facility, electrical work is measured against production. The relevant question is never what the repair costs — it is what the downtime costs, and how confident you are that the window will hold.
Downtime is the real cost
We plan shutdown work to the hour, stage material before the window opens, and add crew rather than extend the outage.
Safety in energized environments
Arc flash and lockout/tagout discipline are not optional. Our crews work to documented energized-work procedures.
Failures give warning
Most industrial electrical failures show up as heat first. Infrared scanning converts an unplanned outage into a scheduled repair.

Power quality is the industrial blind spot
Industrial facilities run more non-linear load than any other building type — variable frequency drives on every motor, welding equipment, induction heating, UPS systems. Each one injects harmonic current back into the distribution system, and the cumulative effect shows up as maintenance problems nobody connects to the waveform.
Transformers running hot at moderate loading, neutrals carrying more current than any phase, capacitor banks failing repeatedly, drives faulting for no traceable reason: these are harmonic signatures, and they are measurable.
- IEEE 519 compliance measurement at the point of common coupling
- Harmonic spectrum analysis across the distribution system
- Transformer derating assessment under real harmonic loading
- Line reactors, passive and active filter specification
- Power factor correction and utility penalty elimination
- Post-mitigation verification measurement
Motor control and drives
Most industrial electrical work concentrates around motors: installing them, controlling them, and diagnosing them when they misbehave. Drive replacement is rarely a like-for-like swap — a modern VFD has different harmonic characteristics, different cable requirements for reflected wave and bearing current, and different commissioning parameters from the unit it replaces.
Cable length between drive and motor matters more than most installers account for. Beyond certain distances reflected wave voltage doubling damages motor insulation, and the correction is either an output filter or a cable route nobody wants to redo.
Shutdown execution
Shutdowns are won in planning. We walk the scope with your maintenance lead before the window opens, stage material on site, and build a task sequence with named crew assignments so nobody waits on a decision at two in the morning.
Where the schedule is tight we add crew rather than extending the window. Clients generally find the labour premium costs less than a second shutdown.

Learn more →Common questions
Our transformer runs hot but loading looks normal. What is going on?
That is a classic harmonic signature. Harmonic currents do no useful work but still heat the windings, so a transformer at moderate apparent loading can run well above its expected temperature. Neutral conductors carrying more current than any phase is the other common tell. Both are measurable with a power quality study.
Can you support a scheduled plant shutdown?
Yes. Shutdown and turnaround work is a core capability. We walk the scope in advance with your maintenance lead, stage materials, and provide a sequenced plan with named crew assignments.
Do you work nights and weekends?
Yes. Industrial work is frequently scheduled outside production hours and we staff those windows as normal operating practice.
