Who we are
Why EVO exists
EVO was founded in 2013 to fill a gap we kept running into from the inside: lighting efficiency and energy reduction done the way it should be done, by electricians who actually understood it.
Between us we had logged decades in the trade — multi-million dollar projects on one end, house calls for a broken switch on the other. What we noticed was that as shops got bigger, complaints got more frequent, and fewer and fewer electricians knew anything meaningful about efficient lighting. The technical knowledge was not making it to the job site.
So we built the company we wanted to work for: exceptional service-oriented electricians, real technical depth in lighting and controls, and a standard of professionalism that the trade does not always earn a reputation for.
Today EVO is a turnkey electrical and lighting provider. We handle full-scope commercial and industrial electrical construction, and we specialize in energy audits, lighting retrofits, controls, maintenance programs and incentive management. Over the past decade our lighting programs have saved clients in retail, commercial, industrial and government sectors more than six million kilowatt-hours.

Do the planning
Most project failures are planning failures wearing a different hat. We front-load the thinking so the field work is boring.
Say the inconvenient thing
If a repair is not worth doing, or a scope is going to overrun, you hear it from us early rather than discovering it in an invoice.
Leave it documented
Accurate panel schedules, as-builts and closeout documentation. The next person who opens that panel should not have to guess.
Finish the job
Punch lists get closed, corrections get handled by us rather than passed back, and we do not disappear at 95% complete.

EVO founded
Started in the off-road LED lighting sector, where demand quickly pushed us toward commercial work.
